SCALEXTRIC TRACK

There have been three "eras" of Scalextric track; the early stuff in the 1960s was made of rubber, and suffered heavily from warping and bad track connections over time. The rougher-surfaced "Classic" track replaced this until the mid 1990s, when the current "Sport" track was introduced, with flat-tab interconnectors for sound electrical contact. You will find earlier track available second hand (see Ebay panel below) and you can pick up modern Sport track including the additional digital track sections from our own Scalextric Track section.
