SCALEXTRIC DIGITAL POWER AND CONTROL

The initial digital powerbase was the C7030 6-car version, also sold in the C7011 conversion set. In 2006 this was temporarily replaced with the 4 car powerbase available only in race ready sets. From the end of 2008 the revised 6 car powerbase C7042 was being produced. Digital hand throttles have stayed the same throughout, and have two buttons on the back, for braking, lane changing and also controlling pit stop functions via third-party software.
